Vivo S1 India pricing leaks - three variants in total.


Vivo has been attracting quite the healthy amount of fan attention since the official debut of the S1 earlier this month. Not to be confused with the other S1 vivo launched in China a few months ago, this one is actually a re-branded vivo Y7s. It first made its way to Indonesia and is now headed to India. Cut-throat markets where a phone really needs to shine in the value department to have any chance of success.
As per an industry insider, starting [August 7, the vivo S1 will retail for INR 17,990 (about $260) on the India market. That's for the entry-level 4GB RAM, plus 128GB storage option - the same one that already launched in Indonesia. The source also claims there will be two more memory tiers to choose from on launch day - 6GB, plus 128GB for INR 19,990 (about $290) and 8GB, plus 128GB for INR 24,990 (about $360). There is also talk of an even cheaper 4GB + 64GB tier. However, no pricing info is available for that one making its appearance a lot less likely at this point in time.
The vivo S1 comes with a 6.38-inch 1080p+ Super AMOLED touchscreen, the MediaTek Helio P65 chipset, a 16 MP (wide) + 8 MP (ultra-wide) + 5 MP (depth sensor) triple rear camera setup, a 32 MP selfie shooter and a 4,500 mAh battery. It also features an in-display fingerprint reader and runs on Android 9 Pie with vivo's Funtouch 9 on top.

Huawei has started testing EMUI 9.1  back in April and a tally of 10 phones is now ready to switch to the Stable version. The company announced on Weibo that seven Huawei smartphones and three Honor devices will get it. Huawei Y9 Prime (2019) appears on Amazon, to arrive on August 1

We’ve been hearing about the Huawei Y9 Prime (2019)  arriving in India  for the past few weeks, but we finally have confirmation. The device was listed on Amazon with its key specs and the launch date. The Y9 Prime (2019) is arriving on August 1 with an elevating selfie camera and three shooters on the back. The screen is 6.59” in diagonal, but it is likely an LCD since the fingerprint scanner is on the back. It has no notches, just a tiny bezel on the bottom because the selfie camera is in a pop-up mechanism. Huawei is officially shipping the Y9 Prime (2019) with Kirin 710 and 4 GB RAM, but at least it has 128 gigs of storage. The selfie shooter has a 16 Mp sensor and brings plenty of AI features, including “real-time image optimising in 8 scenes”.
